The fact that it’s also the same price just makes it that much better. It fires consistently, with the power you’d expect, and it’s a solid update on the Hammershot design. The Alpha Strike Hammerstorm is different from the rest of the line. That by itself raised velocities to 84fps. Out of interest, I cut and installed a small length of CPVC (CTS 1/2″) to add some precompression (though more could have been done). Beyond that, I would expect modders to be able to change up the internals in a similar manner new springs or spring spacers are both effective. Four different sling points sit around the shell. It even features a proper Nstrike barrel attachment lug, in case you really want to use those long barrel attachments. It now features two Nerf rails, one on the top and one on the bottom. The Hammerstorm ups capacity to eight darts, instead of the Hammershot’s five. Given the obvious design differences, it seems like a previous design simply got repurposed for the new blaster line. Even so, it feels great in hand, and far more solid than other Alpha Strike blasters. So it’s not quite something you can holster as backup (at least not without heavy plastic removal). It’s a quite larger platform, of course, thanks to all that extra plastic and ammo storage. The Hammerstorm draws obvious comparisons to its popular predecessor, the Hammershot. As a result, it’s possibly the best blaster in the line so far. And you have eight shots in the cylinder, plus storage for eight more. There’s much more plastic than you’d expect. The blaster is screwed together, not clipped. It’s part of the Alpha Strike line, but it’s clearly not constructed the same. The gamma missions?have lot of time in races,the hunt missions are easy with a tek gun or shotgun.Get a good tek bow or rifle in the drops and maewing,bulbdog,paracer gonna be easy. The NEW nerf alpha strike series cobra rc-6 is a 6 shot, spring powered, rear priming, front load blaster. So, I'm not saying this for me in general.) (Just FYI, a lot of the times, I am one of those who challenge the harder stuff of Ark. But the same for the Gamma? No, give the more casual players a chance. I FULLY understand that people who love a challenge would beat their heads against the walls of the BETA and ALPHA missions, and that is awesome. Please, nerf the gamma missions just a bit. But, point is in my tribe hardly anyone has experienced the final boss because of the hard requirements even just for the Gamma Boss. I can say some of the round up missions too. Starwing Strike is waaay too hard for a lot of casual players even on just gamma. Life support is too hard on gamma for a lot of casual players. Like for example on Gen1 I was a lot of the times the one that had to grind to get to the boss, otherwise the others would not even consider since even some of the gamma missions are so frikken hard. Not everyone wants to do all the missions, I've see that over and over. What I do NOT like is the fact that there are incredibly hard missions in the Gamma run that all the tribe mates need to do to get to the boss. Okay, I do think it is somewhat of a good idea that everyone has to do a certain number of missions to at least do the Gamma Boss.
